Thanks for doing all this work! It has complimented my Portuguese course well. Hopefully next time I go to Portugal I'll be able to speak to my family.

Thank you! This is the most useful Portuguese language resource I've found.

It is wonderful website as I was to go to meet my brother in Salvador (BA) Brazil and was hesitating to be silent spectator there. Now at least I have some confidence to talk. Thanks a lot from core of heart.

As a child I lived in Angola and was fluent in Portuguese, but have forgotten much in the intervening years. I love your site because I can look up stuff as I need. What a great resource. Thank you!

Wow, what an amazing labour of love Russell, more power to you sir! I'm from Leeds UK and in the past 15 years we've seen alot of immigration from lusophone countries, mainly Portugal, Angola and Brazil - I try to shoe-horn my Spanish into Portuguese with varying success, but this site helps! As for European vs Brazilian, I believe the shibboleth 'independentemente' should settle it; or do you prefer 'amo-te' or 'chii ammooo'!! Obrigadinho
